Let's just talk about how huge their food is first.... We definitely did not finish all of the food that we ordered, but we definitely made sure to try everything!
This huge turkey leg pictured above was another dish from The Turkey Leg Hut located in Houston, TX. This dish was their Alfredo shrimp stuffed famous turkey leg with their secret ingredients and seasonings, topped with their grilled jumbo shrimp. It typically comes served with a Cajun Alfredo sauce, but my friend was not interested in trying it, so she got it without.
But even without the sauce, the turkey leg was still amazing, I mean, literally falling off the bone, amazing. It was perfectly seasoned and very savory, to the point you could almost taste a different seasoning or flavor with every bite, and it was so good. It was cooked perfectly, nice and tender, the way it was cooked definitely helped to add some additional texture to the turkey leg. Normally, when you start cooking things that are largely portioned you have to make sure you are paying attention to every little detail, the temperature, the seasonings being spread evenly throughout, flipping/stirring the food, etc. But turkey leg hut knew exactly what they were doing with this turkey leg. And the jumbo shrimp that was added to this dish was also seasoned and cooked perfectly, the shrimp definitely didn't stand a chance with lasting in this dish, lol. Especially with it being in the seasoned juice/sauce from the turkey wing, made the shrimp extremely tasty.
Overall, I would 10/10, highly recommend, you all go and try this amazing dish. It is very filling and well worth the price which was about $18-25. So, everybody go and try this huge dish out!
