Hey, Heyyyy.....
So, can we talk about seafood for a minute?! I know we've discussed how much I love seafood and how good the seafood is at a lot of the places I visit.... But how about seafood with a twist.....
Yall should know, wherever there's food, I am somewhere nearby ready to eat! So, of course, I had to take a trip to the Myrtle Beach, SC Food Truck Festival that was held Friday, March 31st - Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. The event was located at 812 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. This event was presented by Wicked Weed Brewing as an opportunity for food trucks/vendors to be able to showcase and promote themselves. It was such a big and beautiful event, there were so many options for everyone and lots of vendors that provided other products other than food.
Now let's talk about why you're really here... the food! This particular food truck is called "Six In a Ness Kitchen & Catering - Cooking from the Soul"
The taste definitely screams "cooking from the soul" because this food was delicious! I ordered the fried lobster tail.... read that again... the FRIED lobster tail with fries.
I don't know who made it or how they made it, but the batter used for that fried lobster tail had me singing "MY, MY, MYYYY....." When I say it was seasoned perfectly, there isn't a single thing I would change about it. The lobster was fresh and cooked perfectly as well; nice and tender, as I'm sitting here typing this, I'm wishing I had another it was just that good. The French fries were also good with a good amount of seasoning on them. I, personally, prefer a little more crunch to my fries, but these were a PERFECT medium, they weren't super soft or super crunchy, but instead, just right!
They also serve other things such as burgers, wings, shrimp po boys, fish, philly cheese steaks, etc. I wanted to try the shrimp po boy so bad but decided I still had other places to try and chose the fried lobster which was a great choice.
The service was also nice, the ease of placing the order and receiving the order was very smooth.
Overall, I would say 10/10, definitely recommend! You definitely have to try this fried lobster tail combo and if you aren't a fan of lobster, I'd say it's worth trying the other options on their menu if this was just this first impression.
