Listen to me good.....
Jax Grill...... so good, soooooo goooddddd!!!!
Jax Grill is an American and Cajun cuisine restaurant, and they serve everything from burgers and chicken sandwiches to shrimp and catfish, along with kid options and desserts. They definitely try to cater to everyone, and they have even included both a veggie and turkey burger on their menus. The burgers and sandwiches are all served with French fries or tater tots, or you can upgrade to onion rings or sweet potato fries.
The service was absolutely great, the workers there are very friendly, helpful and patient. They work quick but efficiently, we thought we would have our orders by the time the two people in front of us ordered, but we didn't. However, the lady taking orders was so nice and patient and even gave us recommendations. It still took us a minute because they had so much to offer including fajita bowls, marinated chicken breasts, steak, salmon, etc.
My friend and I ended up ordering some of everything to try. I went with the Backyard Barbecue Burger which comes made with a mesquite grilled beef patty, American cheese, bacon, barbecue sauce, crispy onion strings all on a toasted bun. I, however, did have the onions removed from the burger and I upgraded my French fries to sweet potato fries. The burger was well-done, perfectly seasoned, very thick, and the cheese was melted. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly, not extremely crispy, just the way I prefer. We also ordered the "Bang! Bang! Shrimp" which is fried shrimp tossed in a spicy Asian cream sauce, and they were absolutely amazing, I would go back just for the shrimp, causeeee honeeeyyyy. They weren't super spicy to me, but if you don't enjoy spicy foods, I definitely would not recommend. My friend went with the chipotle BBQ chicken wings and a Stuffed Spud (overloaded baked potato). The wings were good, cooked and seasoned perfectly, however, they weren't fully or heavily coated, which would've been nice, but they were still pretty good.
In regard to prices, everything was worth it.... The shrimp was about $10, my burger was about $11 plus an additional $1.50 for the upgrade to sweet potato fries. My friends' wings were about $8 for a 6 piece and about $10 for the Stuffed Baked potato. So roughly altogether, about $45 with taxes, not including drinks. So, not bad, considering you get a lot of food, we couldn't even finish everything.
Overall, I would highly recommend going to Jax Grill in Texas. They are definitely worth it, and they offer some of everything, so you'll have plenty to choose from.
