Nothing wrong with adult fun....
While you are on a cruise trip, whether it's with friends or family, sometimes, people want to completely unwind and may want a little drink.
They have bars located all throughout the entire carnival cruise ships for your convenience during the day. They also have bars located inside of the comedy lounges, adult clubs, casinos, etc. The bars are also convenient to get other drinks during the day that are non-alcoholic as well. This is where having one of the drink packages, offered through carnival, comes in handy. Each time you get a drink through the bars you will have to pay, and for these drinks they were roughly $10-$14 per drink or if you plan on drinking more it may be beneficial to invest in the unlimited drink packages which were approximately $50-$55 per day of the cruise to have unlimited drinks. However, don't fear, drinks during the casual/formal breakfast and dinners are included in the cruise booking fee and you also have the option to get inclusive drinks on the Lido deck during the day as well.
Now let's talk drinks: The red and white frozen drink pictured on the left is known as a "Miami Vice" it is half strawberry daiquiri and half piña colada. This drink includes white rum, simple syrup, strawberries, lime juice, cream of coconut, and pineapple juice.
The off-white frozen drink pictured on the right is similar to the original piña colada known as the "Caribbean colada" but with an extra flare. This drink includes Gosling's black seal rum, Cruzan vanilla rum, banana, coconut and pineapple.
These were just two of my favorite alcoholic drinks that I preferred; however, they do have a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Overall, I would say Miami vice turned out to be my complete favorite. I enjoyed both frozen drinks but the mixture of the strawberry with the piña colada worked really well to create a nice fruity and simple, yet very flavorful drink. I would highly recommend trying either of these drinks or any of the others if you are looking for an alcoholic drink while vacationing!
