Hey Heyyyy...
Sometimes you just get in the mood for a really tasty burger, well I know a great place that sells them.... The Burger Bar also known as 1720. This place serves everything burgers, literally, from burgers made with glazed doughnuts to burgers made with peanut butter, pineapples, fries, cucumbers, etc.
Normally, whenever I go to Burger Bar, I know exactly what I want from the appetizers side of the menu..... TATER BOMBS! Tater Bombs are fried potatoes stuffed with cheese, bacon, chives and a special blend of spices. These things are soooo good, now granted I am such a huge fan of potatoes, they are definitely my weakness, and these aren't any different! They also served with ranch dipping sauce, which I also overly love, so it's safe to say, these are definitely one of my favorite items from their menu (first picture above). They are so soft, yet so crunchy, full of so many spices and literally a burst of flavor and the ranch, I feel, just enhances that flavor that much more.
Then, of course, you can't go to Burger Bar and not get a burger, so I tried the Basic 1720 Burger which consist of lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions, and mayo on a char-grilled hamburger patty that's placed on a toasted bun. Now, if you've followed me this far, you know I always remove my onions and pickles, however, I did add BBQ sauce and cheese to the burger, I just felt like I needed to add it. Safe to say, I'm glad I did, it was absolutely amazing, well-done char-grilled hamburger patty, fresh toppings, very nice flavor and the added BBQ sauce paired perfectly with everything. Their burgers do also come served with their house cut fries, but I did upgrade to the sweet potato fries instead (second picture above), which were incredible much like the meal.
They also serve different types of quesadillas including the cheeseburger, BBQ, and South Cackalacky Quesadilla. The quesadilla my sister purchased was the Buffalo Quesadilla, which consist of fried chicken, buffalo sauce, blended cheese all served with bleu cheese spread. Of course, I tried some of the quesadilla, ya know, for THE EXPERIENCE, and it was definitely amazing! It had a nice kick of spice and flavor, but everything paired together, and nothing overpowered the next. I wouldn't say it's bad for someone who doesn't enjoy spicy foods because I definitely think this is tolerable. However, if you know you can't handle spicy at all, don't go trying it because I recommended it, I'm just saying.
They also sell different sandwiches as far as chicken, philly steak, roast beef, salmon, etc. They also have salads, lunch specials, additional sides (fried okra, fruit bowls, broccoli, chili cheese fries, etc.), desserts and drinks (sweet tea, milkshakes, soda, coffee, etc.). They also have a bar that you can both order from and be seated at, if you are interested.
Overall, 11/10, would highly recommend! The service was very nice and as far as pricing everything pictured above, including drinks was about $35 (with the understanding of the additional fees as far as the cheese and BBQ sauce to the burger and the upgrade of the side). However, I would definitely recommend everyone try this, because it was just that good!
